Diamond Tournament, so I received a special status badge. I’m excited about it and feel relieved because I had been checking the app constantly for a week. I was getting tired of it. Now, I’m free from the pressure.

Original sentence
Yesterday I won the prize which is Duolingo diamond tournament. So I got the special status badge.
I am excited to it and get calmed because I was always checking the app for a week. I was tired of doing it.
Now I am free from the pressure.

Corrections and Explanations
1.“the prize which is Duolingo diamond tournament” → “the prize in the Duolingo Diamond Tournament”
“which is” sounds unnatural here. We usually say we won a prize in a tournament.

2.“got the special status badge” → “received a special status badge”
“received” sounds slightly more formal and natural than “got” in this context.

3.“I am excited to it” → “I’m excited about it”
We say “excited about” something, not “to”.

4.“get calmed” → “feel relieved”
“get calmed” is unnatural. In English, we normally say “feel relieved” when talking about feeling better after stress.

5.“I was always checking the app for a week” → “I had been checking the app constantly for a week”
Past perfect (“had been checking”) is better because the action continued over time before now.
“Always checking” could work but “constantly” sounds more natural and strong in this case.

6.“I was tired of doing it” → “I was getting tired of it”
“Was getting tired” matches better because you became tired over the period, not instantly.

7.Added commas after “Yesterday” and “Now”
In British English (and generally in formal writing), we often add commas after time markers at the beginning of a sentence.

Web app - 072/100 -

Today, I built an app that provides me with flashcards. I can use it on Google Chrome on my iPhone. I wrote the code with the help of ChatGPT.  I just explained the functionality I wanted, and it generated the code for me. It also guided me on how to use GitHub, Google Cloud, and so on. To be honest, I had no prior experience in coding or web development, but I still managed to build it. I believe this app will help improve my English learning.

Dark personality - 095/100 -

I have finished reading the book, What Does It Mean to Have a ‘Bad Personality?’ .  I was particularly interested in the section about ‘grit’, although it is not the main theme of this book. Grit is a personality trait that involves perseverance and determination. It is said that grit has a more positive effect on our achievements than IQ.  Additionally, the book argues that self-esteem is not a precursor to achievement; rather, it is built through accomplishment.  These two insights resonate with me deeply. Reason for applying

I want to find a career for the next 10 years while I'm in my 40s, retire early by 60, and spend the rest of my life enjoying my hobby of traveling. I would like my next career to be one that earns foreign currency (dollars). Japan's national power has been declining recently, and earning yen in Japan is inefficient and risky. However, I need to improve my English skills. My TOEIC score was around 400. In addition, it would be preferable to be self-employed. One of my children has a developmental disorder. Considering his future, leaving a business where we can work together would be a risk hedge. In order to be self-employed overseas, I must improve my English skills above all else. Next, I will find connections and work in the country where I will be working (Australia is the most likely candidate), and eventually become independent. How do I learn English? I thought that I would not be able to acquire a working level of English by attending an English school, as is the commo...
